GEOPOR® Geocell is a high quality erosion control and soil stabilization material with a three-dimensional honeycomb structure. The system provides fast, economical and long lasting solutions for soil stabilization applications and hydraulic purpose sloping surfaces.
GEOPOR® Geocell is manufactured using premium-grade polymer strips enhanced with special additives and advanced ultrasonic welding technology, delivering exceptional protection and reinforcement on various surfaces.
The perforated structure facilitates rapid water drainage, while the textured cell surfaces securely retain the infill material, even on steep slopes.
Cells can be filled with various materials such as sand, gravel, soil, or concrete, depending on the application. Available cell heights range from 50 mm to 200 mm to accommodate diverse project specifications.
Perforations facilitate efficient drainage in saturated conditions, enhancing infill friction and reducing downslope sliding forces, thereby contributing to a more stable system.
In vegetated systems, perforations enable roots to extend between cells, enhancing vegetative stability against short-term hydraulic events.
Additionally, perforations permit the passage of nutrients and microorganisms between neighboring cells, promoting a healthy ecosystem.
